保護犬の譲渡会で、少女が真っ先に駆け寄った高齢犬が？「大泣きした」

アメリカのミネソタ州に住むアンバー（bruno.thesouldog）さんが、娘さんと一緒に近所のスーパーマーケットに出かけた時のことです。

買い物を終えた２人は、道路の向かいにあるペット用品店の駐車場で、保護犬の譲渡イベントが開かれているのに気が付きました。

彼女たちはちょっと覗いて見るだけのつもりで、そのイベントに立ち寄ることにします。

少女と高齢犬の運命の出会い

会場に着くと、娘さんは迷わず端の方に置かれたケージに駆け寄ったのだそう。

子犬やほかの愛らしい犬たちには目もくれず、まるで引き寄せられるように１匹の高齢犬に近付いたのです。

その犬はブルーノくんといい、娘さんと一瞬で仲よくなったため、アンバーさんはとても驚いたのだとか。

彼女たちはこの日、犬を引き取る予定ではなかったため、いったんその場を後にしました。

しかし、娘さんはブルーノくんの話が止まらず、「もう一度会いたい！」というため、親子は３０分後に再びイベント会場へ戻ります。

娘さんがブルーノくんとの再会を喜ぶ姿を見て、アンバーさんは彼を引き取ることを真剣に考え始めたといいます。

それから数時間後、今度は家族全員でブルーノくんに会いに行くと、１分もしないうちに全員がブルーノくんに夢中になったのです！

アンバーさんはすぐに手続きを済ませ、ブルーノくんを家族として迎え入れました。

When we left Walmart there were a bunch of dog kennels set up in the parking lot across the street at PetSmart. We decided to check it out as I figured they could use some love and attention.... That’s not how it went through My daughter ran straight over to a kennel on the end with an older dog. She had no interest in the puppies and all the other cute dogs there. It was like a magnet pulled her to this dog. He was so sweet. He would lift up his paw, kiss and just had this sweet old soul vibe to him. Honestly haven’t met any dog like him before. We left after a bit but my daughter continued to talk about him and she couldn’t stop. She wanted to go see him “really bad” again and felt such a strong connection. I feel like I lost my mind at that point because I decided we could go back. I admit there were thoughts going on in my head trying to figure out if we “could make it work” since he was truly special but I didn’t want to give her hopes up. We asked if we could take him on a walk and after that my heart was becoming attached too❤️ He has been with an amazing foster care organization here that helps adopt out dogs called “Arrows Heart Rescue”. He had been to a handful of events where he is basically there for people to meet him and adopt if they wanted but he hadn’t been adopted yet. I’m sure others had a harder time looking past his allergy condition, fur condition and older age but we fell in love with him! My whole family went back a couple hours later to meet him. It took less than a minute and everyone was in love. ❤️ Soon after, we signed the papers and we officially have an addition to our family ‍⬛ + The timing isn’t great but the way everything aligned we didn’t want to lose out on this sweet blessing….In just a week he has brought SO much love, peace, joy, laughter and comfort to our home. アンバーさんはブルーノくんに出会った時、譲渡イベントのスタッフからブルーノくんは野良犬だったと聞かされていました。

ところが、動画が広まった後、ブルーノくんの仮里親だったという人から連絡が来たのだそう。

実はブルーノくんは野良犬ではなく、２０２４年１０月にアーカンソー州で前の飼い主が手放した犬だったのです。

飼い主に捨てられた後、アンバーさんの家族になるまでに、２つのシェルターと、２人の仮里親の元で過ごしていたことが分かりました。

現在は、ブルーノくんは新しい家にすっかりなじんで、穏やかな毎日を過ごしているそうです。

飼い主に捨てられ、いくつもの場所を転々とした後、ついに新しい家族と出会えたブルーノくん。

あの日、アンバーさんと娘さんが何気なく譲渡イベントに立ち寄ったのは、偶然ではなく運命だったのかもしれませんね。
