「Asia Skater of the Year」は三本木 心(日本)とマージリン・ディダル(フィリピン)

「Asian Skateboarding Awards」は「Asia Skater of the Year」を含む8つのカテゴリーでアジア大陸を横断してオリンピック有力候補から才能ある新人スケートボーダーまで受賞者を発表した。

2020年、他のすべてのスポーツと同じように、スケートボードシーンも全世界的な感染症で深刻な影響を受けた。

そんな中、実行委員会は「Asian Skateboarding Awards」を立ち上げ、招待スケーターへ未来への挑戦として、フッテージ映像を募集。エントリーはスケートショップ、スケートボードブランドのマネージャ、スポンサー、スケート関連メディア関係者による選考過程を通じ行い、最終的に、250件のノミネートから6つのカテゴリー賞と、より権威のある今年の「Trick of the Year」と「Asia Skater of the Year」を決定。
