ファッションモデルでカメラマンもするイケメンサーファー! ダニー・フラーのInstagramが芸術的

サーフィンは、アートと深い縁があるスポーツの1つだ。例えば“サーフアート”のようなサーフボードへのペイントしかり、あるいはサーフィンをテーマにした写真作品を発表するアーティストも世界中にいる。

そのなかでも有名な存在の1人が、サーファー、フォトグラファー、そしてモデルとして活動しているアメリカ人のダニー・フラーだ。

彼はハワイにあるサーフィンの聖地「パイプライン」に魅せられた少年時代から、ハワイを拠点にサーフィン中心の生活を送っている。

世界的なサーファーたちがパイプラインを舞台に競い合う「パイプラインマスターズ」に出場したこともあり、サーファーとしても一流。さらに、海やサーフィンをテーマにしたフォト作品を多数発表し、ロサンゼルスで個展を開催した。活躍の場はそれだけに留まらず、高級ブランド「CHANEL」（シャネル）のフレグランスモデルに起用されたこともある。

Instagramに投稿されているサーフィン中の写真は、別のカメラマンが撮影している場合もあるが、迫力や躍動感、現場の温度が伝わるような写真が多く、サーフィン好きならきっと楽しめることだろう。

The Art of Elysium For over twenty-one years, we’ve paired volunteer artists with communities in Los Angeles to support individuals in the midst of difficult emotional life challenges like illness, hospitalization, displacement, confinement, and/or crisis. We serve medically fragile children, teens, adults, seniors, those dealing with social, emotional and mental health issues, and the homeless. Our team members at The Art of Elysium work with volunteer artists to craft creative, tailor-made programs for the populations we serve.
